(Black PR Wire) As element of our determination to STEM schooling, the NextEra Vitality Foundation will award up to 10 colleges every a $50,000 classroom makeover grant to strengthen technological innovation, products and methods for the subsequent generation of innovators.
This grant is intended to provide transformational mastering prospects for Black students in a classroom environment. Resources are accessible to handle requires in infrastructure, technologies or assets (i.e. software program, gear, textbooks, schooling of teachers, tutors, paraprofessionals) to advance the STEM curriculum and raise exposure of Black learners to STEM training and professions.
Grants will be awarded to five classrooms in the Florida Electricity & Gentle/Gulf Electrical power provider area and 5 grants in NextEra Energy’s company place to 10 colleges for each year from 2021 through 2024. This grant is open to all public, personal and charter schools and all quality degrees.
