The number of Haitian migrants stopped at sea by the U.S. Coastline Guard zoomed previous 1,000 for this fiscal yr after two interceptions of 260 migrants returned to Haiti Friday, the company introduced.
For the fiscal yr that began Oct. 1, 2020 and will conclude Thursday, the Coast Guard claims, crews have intercepted 1,119 Haitian migrants. The Coastline Guard, which says it presents all migrants food, water and essential clinical awareness, claimed none of the migrants experienced “injuries or important clinical concerns.”
