Kayakers Run One of New Zealand’s Most Notorious Waterfalls

Hidden in the depths of the Kaimanawa Forest Park in the heart of New Zealand’s North Island is the 80-foot Tauranga-Taupo waterfall. First identified and descended some 10 several years back by Kiwi legend Brendon Bayley, it is had a combined history for kayakers that’s involved thoroughly clean lines, broken backs and in the vicinity of drownings.
