NLM Associate Fellows 2021-2022

The Nationwide Library of Drugs (NLM), a leader in research in biomedical informatics and info science, and the world’s premier biomedical library, is happy to announce our 2021-2022 course of Affiliate Fellows.

The Affiliate Fellowship Application will commence in September and present a strong educational and management practical experience ranging from official lectures and displays to jobs in functions, investigation and development, plan, and info analysis, all in just the context of the position of a national library on the countrywide and worldwide stage. The 2021-2022 fellowship 12 months will be done remotely.

Luke Kudryashov acquired his MSI from the College of Michigan in May 2021. While finishing his degree, Luke labored as an accessibility specialist and UX assistant at the HathiTrust Digital Library and as a Rackham Community Engagement Fellow at Michigan Publishing. Luke also produced a COVID-19 misinformation taxonomy for an internship with Tattle Civic Technologies and Microsoft Research India, done consumer investigation for the Metropolis of Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation, and served as a graduate student instructor for courses in the Women’s Scientific studies Office and the English Department Crafting Software at UM. Luke also served on several advisory boards at UM, such as the Provost’s Inclusion Diversity Fairness and Accessibility (Concept) Board and the Scholar Everyday living Variety Fairness and Inclusion College student Advisory Board (DEI-SAB), and has acquired awards for his support and advocacy from the Place of work of Variety, Fairness, and Inclusion and the Council for Disability Concerns. Also, Luke holds a BA in English and Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and an MA in English Language and Literature from the College of Michigan.

Simone Stone gained her MLIS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May perhaps 2021. As an MSLIS scholar, Simone labored as a graduate assistant at the undergraduate library wherever she carried out lots of jobs like main instruction courses and co-chairing the Convey Your Very own E-book Club method. Also, Stone served as an iSchool Ambassador and instructing assistant for the Place of work of Undergraduate Research. She was vice president of the iSchool Students of Shade. Simone gained her BA in Film and Media Scientific studies and Geography from Dartmouth School and a MFA from Chapman College. 

Frank Vitale acquired his MLIS from the College of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2021. Sam Kennefick Wilairat received her MLIS from San Jose State University in Could 2021.
