  1. 8 ounces uncooked spaghetti
  2. 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  3. 2 kilos large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  4. 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  5. 1/4 cup chopped shallots or eco-friendly onions
  6. 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  7. 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  8. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  9. Ground black pepper, to flavor
  10. 2 tablespoons brandy or sherry, optional
  11. 2 tablespoons butter


Fill a big pot 3/4 whole with drinking water and provide to a boil. Incorporate the pasta and prepare dinner in accordance to package deal instructions. Drain the pasta comprehensively.

Whilst the pasta is cooking, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a substantial saucepan about medium heat. Insert the shrimp and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each individual aspect. Transfer shrimp to a bowl and continue to keep heat.
